It has survived centuries of change in the Orient and is as contemporary today as it was 5000 years ago.          The I CHING applies one's travels through the Universal Order, or "Tao," to the natural workings of Heaven and Earth. For this reason, the I CHING Oracle, when sincerely consulted, has provided accurate prophesies regarding all phases of human endeavor throughout the centuries. A modern-day translation, from the Chinese, for a person engaging in an endeavor in any varying degree, is "Player."
