The Dinner Meeting is opened with a
Salute and Pledge to the Flag of the United
States and an Invocation to Remember this
is also VETERAN'S DAY.
The 11th Hour, the 11th Day, the 11th
Month, 1918 was originally designated as
ARMISTICE DAY to honor the contributions
of the Veterans of World War One.
In 1954 Congress re-designated the day
as VETERANS DAY to honor the Veterans of
all wars that we were, and will become,
engaged in.
