EARLY MONDAY, MEMORIAL DAY MORNING |

At the crack of dawn Billy Bob (aka William Robert ?) Terry, Rick Mattson,
Chet Finley and Shayne Terry (the cooking staff)
fire up the BBQ pit and grill, seasoning and cooking
those hapless chickens.
Chicken cleaners of note (not to be confused with
road kill experts); Larry Mora, Randy Jackson and Joe Watje.
Inside Marty and Eileen McAulay, Alice Henson, Edwina Nye,
Silvia Nerelli, Suzanne Harrison, Mary Ann Erb, Shirley Martin,
Mary Pisenti's sister Amy Ryan and her daughter Jennifer,
Boy Staters Jacob Sxhwarm (Atascadero) and
John Brennan Witacre (Templeton)
work throughout the day preparing and serving the luncheon.
On the "Far Side" Cecil Gambel with the Honor Guard ( and lame ducks thankful they
are not chickens --- Bob Harrison, Jeff Maxwell, Bill Presley, Bob Miller. Eldon Bergman,
Randy Jackson and Tom Jermin ) while Larry Mora with the
Color Guard ( consisting of 'Famous Amoses' Joe Watje, Bob Estelle and Bob Pisenti )
are drilling for the cemetery presentations.

Special Guest Colonel Barbara A. Nuismer, Commander Camp Roberts,
delivers an inspired speech based upon her own credos of
courage, candor, confidence and commitment; including pieces from
"Tribute to Veterans of All Wars" to the captive crowd.

During the up-coming year Post Historian Barry R. Trosper
is committed to up-dating the archives of those veterans
interned at the Templeton Cemetery and is seeking information
