      The 4th USS Shark, SS-174, a motor boat, operated on patrol service during and after World War I in the New England area. It was originally named Ildico IV then later renamed Shark before being purchased by the Navy.

Decommissioned and Struck From the Navy List September 16, 1919.

Sold by the Navy October 20, 1919.
